Originally from Vermont, Merritt David Janes has worked all the way to stardom on the Great Bright Way. You probably remember Merritt for starring as Dewey Finn in Broadway’s School of Rock, and he has since returned to the Broadway stage as Strickland/Ensemble in Back to the Future. Merritt has also been seen starring on the National tours of School of Rock as Dewey Finn, Catch Me if You Can as Carl Hanratty, Shrek as Lord Farquaad, Beauty and the Beast as Lumiere, Sweeney Todd as Sweeney, and The Wedding Singer as Robbie Hart.
