Frequently asked questions
Corporate events
Can you provide a host for events?
Yes! You can choose to have your event hosted by a Broadway Plus expert. Our host uses their experience to make your event smooth and engaging. They arrive early, welcome guests, introduce the artists, help segue into performances, and facilitate the goals of the event. They bring energy and excitement to engage your audience, ensuring they leave with a lasting, positive experience.
Do you offer gift bags?
Yes, we have partnerships with the merchandise providers of all Broadway shows and will happily create custom gift bags. Let us know your quantity and budget, and we’ll provide a few options. We also have the ability to ship these directly to event attendees if needed.
How can we measure the success of our events?
At Broadway Plus, we believe we’ve succeeded when your participants feel inspired and energized after the event. You may choose to measure the success of your event using participant feedback, engagement metrics, attainment of event goals, post-event surveys, impact on business objectives, or smiles. Check out some of the incredible feedback we’ve received in the past on our Corporate page!
What are the benefits of Broadway corporate events?
Nothing beats the magic of live theater or the talent of Broadway performers, who are some of the most disciplined artists in the world. Hearing them perform, plus learning about what it took for them to reach “the top,” is incredibly fun and motivating. Our Broadway-inspired events can offer networking opportunities, awards for hitting work goals, effective marketing platforms, and team-building activities that foster collaboration and communication. PLUS, they’re a lot of fun!
What is a Broadway Plus corporate event?
Our events harness the magic and power of Broadway talent to help you meet your goals, whether they be based on networking, marketing, team-building, training, or the celebration of an achievement. An event can be anything from a small virtual team meet-up with a Broadway performer to a large-scale in-person conference, incentive trip, presentation, or another event in which the whole group sees a show and meets the cast. All events include either seeing a Broadway show, engaging with Broadway performers, or both.
Education events
Can we choose a specific artist for our workshop, or will one be assigned?
Artists are assigned once the event is confirmed, and based on artist availability. Every artist approved to work for Broadway Plus is of exceptional talent and expertise, to ensure a memorable experience for your students.
Can we customize our workshop?
Yes, all workshops are customizable to fit your goals. You can focus on one subject, or split up the workshop to include more than one specialty (acting, dance, voice, or another by request).
Do we need an accompanist for the workshop?
For workshops that require singing, you can either provide a live pianist, or students can perform with a pre-recorded music track. Please let us know your preference when submitting your request.
Do you offer virtual options?
Yes! Most of our workshop offerings are available virtually. Virtual classes work best when you have an up-to-date technical set-up, so that the artist can be seen and heard by your students. We’ll provide a Zoom link and will help with your technical needs.
Do you offer workshops in New York City?
Yes! If you’re planning a trip with your students, get in touch and we’ll create a custom experience for you.
How far in advance should I book a workshop for my students?
We recommend confirming your Broadway Plus workshop at least one month in advance to ensure availability and seamless event planning. However, we will do our best to accommodate your request with shorter notice.
How many students can attend a workshop?
Group size is flexible, but for most group workshops we recommend no more than 50 students. For groups larger than 50, we recommend a Q&A experience.
What payment methods do you accept for booking workshops, and can we use purchase orders (POs)?
We accept payments through credit cards, checks, and purchase orders (POs). For POs, we’re happy to accommodate a net 30 payment term. You may choose the best method for your school's financial processes.
Where do the in-person workshops happen?
For most workshops, we bring the artist to you. Be sure to have a room large enough for the artist to comfortably work with your students, like a stage, auditorium, gymnasium or studio. For workshops taking place in New York City, we typically book Broadway rehearsal studio spaces in Midtown Manhattan, but can provide the experience elsewhere upon request.
Group tickets
Are tickets refundable?
All ticket sales are final and non-refundable. Tickets may not be transferred to another show. Refunds are only issued in the event of a show cancellation.
How does the group ticket process work?
Group ticket orders take between 1-5 days to confirm. Please begin by selecting your show and preferred performance date time, and submit a group ticket request. Once submitted, our team will be in touch within 48 hours with pricing options and to confirm your order.
What discount do I receive for purchasing group tickets?
Each show sets its group discount based on the performance date (including time of year and day of the week), and how far in advance the purchase is being paid for. The average discount is between 10-20%.
What happens if my show is canceled?
You will receive a refund for the tickets, and we will work with you to secure tickets to a different show of your choice as soon as possible.
What is the group size minimum?
For most shows, the minimum order size to receive group pricing (10-20% discount) is 10 tickets. Occasionally, a show will have a higher minimum (Wicked is 15 tickets). All tickets must be purchased for the same performance date and time.
What is the minimum age for Broadway, and do toddlers need tickets?
Ages 4+ is the general recommendation to attend a kid-friendly Broadway show. Most shows have a higher recommendation due to content. All attendees need a purchased ticket for entry, regardless of age.
What payment methods are accepted?
Most shows accept credit cards, check, and wire transfer. Some payment methods may vary based on the show. Purchase orders (POs) do not qualify as a form of payment for group tickets.

Are ticket prices included in the experience?

One-on-One
Can I book an experience if I live in a different time zone than New York?
Yes! Toggle to your time zone on the top right of the booking calendar. We have arranged experiences for fans from all over the world — India, England, Germany, France, Australia, and more. Most of our artists are based in New York, so their best availability is based on the American Eastern Time Zone (ET). If you can’t find an available time that works for you, contact us here.
Can I get a discount?
As a premium experience company, we do not offer discounts. Our prices reflect the time and effort that it takes us to coordinate high-quality experiences, and the corresponding customer service needs. We also suggest that you sign-up for our Updates and Offers email list and follow us on Instagram.
Can I post a recording of my experience online?
You may not post clips longer than one minute on social media, YouTube, or any other forum, unless you have clearly noted upon booking that this is for your podcast (please see question about podcasts). Posting a few seconds of the experience on Instagram or TikTok is great (please tag us @BroadwayPlus), but please don’t post more than one minute. Our artists are very giving with their knowledge, and we want to honor the fact that they chose to share specific information with you!
Can I reschedule my booking?
Once confirmed by Broadway Plus, your experience may be rescheduled up to 72 hours (3 days) before the originally scheduled start time of the experience. We regret that we cannot reschedule your experience within (3) days of the original start-time. Rescheduling directly with artists or using any mode of communication outside of Broadway Plus is not permitted.
Please note: attempts to contact artists directly will result in a booking cancellation and forfeiture of payment.
Can I use Broadway Plus to book artists to appear on my podcast?
Sure! Please go ahead and book a meet-and-greet on the artist’s profile. In the “anything else you’d like us to know ” section on the booking form, please write that you are using this session to record your podcast. You may share a bit about your podcast here too, and what you are hoping to discuss. The artist will see your note, and that will inform them that this session is for your podcast. If you book and pay for an experience and clearly indicate your desire to record for future use on our booking form and then the artist denies your request, you will be refunded upon written request to Broadway Plus. Please email us at concierge@broadwayplus.com with “Recording” in the subject line within 24 hours after your session and request a copy of your video (one-on-ones only). We encourage you to record a “backup” on your own device, in addition to our Zoom recording. You may review detailed instructions here. When you do post your podcast episode, please tag us (@BroadwayPlus on Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok, @BroadwayPlusNYC on Twitter) — we can’t wait to listen to it!
Do you offer any accommodations for fans with special needs?
Yes! Broadway Plus celebrates all fans, and it’s important to us that we provide equal access to all. We can provide you with an ASL interpreter or any other special service that you need.
Please make note of this in your inquiry, and our team will accommodate you.
Does this money go directly to the artists?
The majority of your payment goes directly to artists. Of course, our artists consent for Broadway Plus to take a commission in order to support our website, customer service, and marketing efforts. Our artists appreciate the services we provide to them, and are happy to compensate us accordingly.
How can I get a recording of my one-on-one experience?
Access to one-on-one recordings is not guaranteed, but you may email us at concierge@broadwayplus.com with “Recording” in the subject line after your class and request a copy of your video (one-on-ones only). You should receive a response within 3 business days.
How do I know you’re a real company that will deliver?
Read our testimonials and read about us in the news! We have been in business since 2016 and are very proud of our outstanding customer service record. Broadway stars and producers contract us to handle a wide variety of VIP services due to our excellent reputation in the industry. We are the longstanding Official Supplier of VIP experiences for many Broadway shows, including Hamilton, Wicked, SIX, and many more.
My virtual one-on-one is tomorrow and I still haven’t received a Zoom link.
Your booking is not confirmed until you receive a confirmation email with a Zoom link. If you haven’t received a confirmation email and Zoom link, please reach out to us for help.
What do I need to prepare for my lesson?
For acting- and vocal-based lessons, select two pieces for your lesson (song, monologue, etc.). There will always be enough time to work on your first selection, and if there is extra time, you’ll be prepared with a second! If you’re singing, either have an accompanist at a piano or keyboard, or a vocal track queued up and ready to go. Try to find a track on YouTube and PianoTrax, or sing a cappella if you cannot find a track. We recommend playing your track from a different device (like your phone), so as not to interfere with Zoom.
Please be warmed up and ready to sing your song at the beginning of your lesson. If you are working on a monologue or scene, please memorize as much as possible.
For dance lessons, the artist will prepare a combo for you to learn.
What if I am late for or miss my experience?
If you miss your experience or are late due to an error on your part, we regret that we cannot provide a credit or complimentary re-schedule.The vast majority of missed experiences and re-schedule requests we receive are due to time zone errors. If you are not in the Eastern United States time zone (which is different than Eastern Standard Time during some months), please check on the morning of your experience that you have correctly accounted for the time difference between your location and New York City (typing “current time difference between \[your location\] and New York” into your Google search bar is the easiest way).
Please note: time differences between locations may vary month-to-month due to daylight savings.
What platform do your experiences take place on?
We use Zoom for all of our 1-1 virtual experiences. Once an experience has been paid for and scheduled, you will receive a Zoom invite. Please download the Zoom app. Simply click on the link, enter the password, and the Zoom app will pop up and connect you.
What should I prepare for my virtual Meet-and-Greet?
Please come to your Meet-and-Greet with a list of questions about the artist and their career. You’re there to learn more about the artist and the theatre industry. Be creative and have fun.
Please note: questions about the artist’s personal life, casting, and finances are not permitted.
What type of payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards, Google Pay, and Apple Pay.
Who is supposed to call “time’s up?”
Please keep an eye on the time and be courteous of the time limit. The Zoom link expires at the end of the scheduled session, so be sure to account for time to have a proper goodbye and pose for a picture!
Whose information should I enter into the booking if I’m scheduling a surprise session to gift?
If this a surprise gift, the gift-giver may include their information in the booking form (Your Name, Your Email, Your Phone). This is so the booking emails go to you, and you may share with the recipient once you are ready to give the gift. You MUST include the name of the recipient/person who will be on the Zoom in the “Anything else you’d like us to know” field.
Will the artist sing for me?
Only during our custom virtual concerts do our artists sing on Zoom. You can purchase a custom virtual concert by filling out our VIP Concierge Form. Please note, concerts are a higher price than our other offerings.
As professional performers, our artists take singing seriously and require a warm-up and high-quality A/V equipment. Please do not ask an artist to “sing just a little bit,” this is rude and puts them in an awkward position of having to say “no.”
Will you donate an experience to my charity?
We receive multiple charity requests every week and are unable to accommodate requests from organizations with which we do not have a prior existing relationship. Exceptions are occasionally made for longstanding partners and previous clients only, subject to artist approval. We regret that no other exceptions can be made. We are heavily involved in the Make-A-Wish Foundation as a Broadway wish-assister and fund-raiser, and choose to concentrate our charitable efforts to maximize impact.
