English Bernhardt has had the honor of playing not one, but three leads in the musical adaptation of Mean Girls! Hailing from Raleigh, NC, English has performed regionally around the country. In fact, her first lead role was Annie at North Carolina Theatre, where she was directed by Casey Hushion, who is now her associate director on Mean Girls! She loves watching students grow through lessons and hearing about ways that the magic of live theatre has shaped fans' lives through meet-and-greets. Make sure to ask English what it was like to perform alongside Idina Menzel in the musical If/Then, or what it was like to help develop Dear Evan Hansen through a series of its first workshops and labs!
