Gayle Seay is a founding partner of Wojcik/Seay Casting, a premier casting agency charged with casting the touring companies of Jesus Christ Superstar, RENT, An Officer and A Gentleman, Something Rotten!, Kinky Boots, Rock of Ages, and many more. Most recently she has taken on the role of Artistic Director of STAGES St. Louis where the Pre Broadway tryout of The Karate Kid the Musical took place. Gayle will also be directing A Chorus Line this fall! She started off her career as a dancer/performer before switching gears and launching a career in casting. As a performer, Gayle starred as Demeter in the closing company of Cats at the Winter Garden Theatre. Gayle knew that she couldn’t dance forever, so she made a decision to try out a new side of the business and became a casting assistant, and the rest is history.  Gayle loves to connect to aspiring artists through meet-and-greets, audition coachings, and Q&As.  Don’t forget to ask her about how she got her start in the business – from selling programs at the Winter Garden Theater to casting some of Broadway’s biggest hits!
