Andrew Sotomayor is an accomplished makeup artist with 18 years of experience in film, television, and theater. He has worked with notable publications such as Vogue and Cosmopolitan. Sotomayor won an Emmy Award for his makeup work on Saturday Night Live and received nominations for Jesus Christ Superstar Live! and Pose. He serves as the makeup department head for The Other Two on HBO Max and John Mulaney and the Sack Lunch Bunch on Netflix. Trained in musical theater in New York and Shakespeare in London, Sotomayor has collaborated with renowned directors including Julie Taymor and Baz Luhrman. His Broadway credits include designing tattoos for the 2020 productions of West Side Story and Company. Sotomayor offers Q&A sessions, makeup lessons, and career coaching, specializing in makeup for self-tape auditions and professional makeup career strategies.
