Mia Pinero, a rising star with a BFA in Musical Theatre from Montclair State University, gained recognition for understudying the role of Maria in Broadway's West Side Story revival. She also took on the role of Johanna/Beggar Woman understudy in the Sweeney Todd revival. Notably, Pinero originated the role of Jo in the World premiere production of Ken Ludwig's Lend Me a Soprano at the Alley Theatre and appeared as Woman 1 in Paper Mill Playhouse's production of Songs for a New World alongside Carolee Carmelo. She also co-produced and released her solo debut album 'Growing Up'. Pinero emphasizes continuous growth and training for artists, focusing on nuance, specificity, and individual uniqueness. Her commitment has led to increased confidence, stage presence, and a deeper connection to her work.
