DEEJAY YOUNG is a singer-songwriter, actor, & performer from Tampa, Florida. He began his career at the age of five in the Gospel-theatrical stage play Daddy Please Don't Leave & has since performed as an international entertainer. In 2019, he joined the First Nat’l Tour of HAMILTON as a principal standby & later made his debut on Broadway as Aaron Burr in Spring of 2024. Young’s theatrical credits include performances in Hairspray, RENT, & Ain't Misbehavin'. He was also a featured contestant on Season 24 of the EMMY® winning series, The Voice on NBC. As an independent recording artist, Young has received four Independent Music Awards & two Contemporary A Cappella Recording Awards (CARAs), as well a Tampa Bay Theatre Award & two Broadway World Awards for his regional theatre contributions.
