James Rocco is an Award-Winning Director/Producer/Writer who moonlights as a singer and voice-over artist. He has worked on Broadway, off-Broadway, throughout the US, London, Paris, and Tokyo. Most notably, he did the musical staging for The Wizard of Oz at Madison Square Garden, which starred Roseanne, Eartha Kitt, and Mickey Rooney and directed a re-imagined Singin’ In The Rain for the stage, which the NY Times called, “in a league of its own.” In 2021, Broadway World cited his production of 33 Variations as one of the decade’s best regional productions of a play and named him one of the vocalists of the decade for his work on Broadway Songbook®!
