John McDaniel is a prominent American theatre producer, composer, conductor, and pianist. He gained recognition as the lead composer and producer of The Rosie O'Donnell Show, earning two Daytime Emmy Awards out of six nominations. McDaniel is renowned for his collaborations with Patti LuPone, particularly for their 1995 concert Patti LuPone: Live!, which transitioned to Broadway following a successful Los Angeles run. His work producing the Broadway cast album of Annie Get Your Gun with Bernadette Peters earned him a Grammy Award. Notably, he has contributed to cast albums for other productions including Brooklyn: The Musical, Taboo, and Happy Days: A New Musical. Additionally, McDaniel actively engages with fans through meet-and-greets, coachings, and Q&A sessions.
