Hailing from Chicago, Kate is an industry enigma. Working steadily throughout her 22-year career, she has performed in numerous medias from stage to screen, audiobooks to opera, commercials to cabarets, even Vegas slot machines. She’s been seen on the stages of The Great Bright Way in the musical comedy First Date, as Amber in Hairspray and in the rousing musical The Drowsy Chaperone. She joined the Chicago company of Wicked as Glinda/Nessarose understudy and was most recently seen in Ogunquit Playhouse’s Murder On the Orient Express where she gained a BroadwayWorld Award for Best Actress in a Play. Most recently, Kate was the Host, Creator, and Producer of Living Small NYC, streaming on Broadway on Demand.
