Born and raised in South Korea, Q Lim made the Broadway stage her “Home, Sweet Home” in her memorable debut opposite Kelli O'Hara and Hoon Lee as Tuptim in the 9-time Tony-nominated musical The King and I. As Tuptim, Q became the first Korean in a principal role since 1996! Q went on to reprise her role as Tuptim opposite Laura Michelle Kelly and Elena Shaddow in the National Tour of The King and I. More recently, Q has performed for legendary composer Jason Robert Brown on his new musical, Farewell My Concubine, and has played Callie in the Broadway workshop of KPOP, The Musical. Fun fact: Q is now a master of IPA and can transcribe English to IPA as fast as she speaks because she used IPA to hone her English in order be able to sing and act on an American stage!
