The reigning Prince of the Pridelands, Vincent Jamal Hooper has recently starred as Simba on Broadway in the global phenomenon The Lion King. In addition to Tony Award winner Julie Taymor, Vincent has collaborated with Pulitzer & Tony Award winner Michael R. Jackson and Pulitzer, Tony, & Grammy Award winner Lin-Manuel Miranda — performing both alongside Miranda and around the world in the hit musical, Hamilton as Aaron Burr, George Washington, Lafayette/Jefferson, King George III, & Alexander Hamilton. He is also an accomplished TV star, starring in Chicago Med (NBC) and Shots Fired (FOX). Vincent also a recording artist under the name BOI WUNDER, with original music available on all streaming platforms.
