Born in Brooklyn of immigrant parents from the Dominican Republic, Wilson Jermaine Heredia is a sensational spirit among the theatre community! He’s best known for his Tony Award winning performance originating the iconic role of Angel in the Broadway production of RENT and later reprising everyone’s favorite fearless percussionist in the shows big screen adaption. Wilson made his return to Broadway in La Cage aux Folles in the role of Jacob starring alongside Broadway hero Harvey Fierstein.
