She might be one of the fastest-rising stars on Broadway, but you still might call Yesenia Ayala a West Side Story veteran! She performed in two touring productions of the show, and was rehearsing for Stephen Spielberg's upcoming film version she earned the role of Anita in the Broadway revival. Be sure to ask her about how these many productions and formats differ! On Broadway, Yesenia has also performed in Illinoise, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and Carousel. She has been dancing for most of her life and made the shift from pre-med to theater in college. Yesenia is so excited to connect with fans and theater lovers with Broadway Plus!
