Brandon Victor Dixon is an absolute “Superstar” in the theatre, film, and television industry! Brandon made his professional theatre debut originating the role of Adult Simba in The Lion King National Tour and “One by One,” the credits kept coming! Brandon was nominated for a Tony Award for his role as Harpo in Broadway’s The Color Purple, a Grammy Award for his portrayal of Berry Gordy Jr. in Motown The Musical, a Tony Award for his role as Eubie Blake in Shuffle Along, and numerous awards for his portrayal of Haywood Patterson in The Scottsboro Boys. Most recently, Brandon played Aaron Burr in Hamilton and was nominated for an Emmy Award for his role as Judas in NBC’s Jesus Christ Superstar. On screen, Brandon has starred in FOX’s RENT, Amazon’s Modern Love, and the STARZ hit POWER.
