Jaygee Macapugay is a proud Filipino actress. Broadway credits include: Here Lies Love, Shucked, School of Rock. Off-Broadway: Public Theater- Shaina Taub’s Suffs, David Henry Hwang’s Soft Power, Hansol Jung’s Wild Goose Dreams. National Asian Artists Project: Irene Molloy, Hello, Dolly!, and Gabrielle, Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella.

Jaygee has a mission for storytelling as a means for change, particularly for amplifying the stories of AAPI & Filipino Americans. Jaygee performed Paulo Tirol’s Filipino immigrant song cycle On This Side Of The World with Musical Theater West & the National Alliance of Musical Theatre. She is a proud member of Broadway Barkada, a collective of Filipino artists who support the Filipino American community through their programs & performances. Jaygee is thrilled to be part of the Broadway Plus platform!
