Martínez was a household name in Latin America (starring in the tv series “El Vato” on Netflix and multiple telenovelas in both Univision and Telemundo) before crossing over to Broadway. In Mexico, he starred as the leading man in the Mexico productions of Disney’s Beauty and The Beast, Saturday Night Fever, and Jesus Christ Superstar.
