Tony Award Winner, Jud Fry in Oklahoma!

Shuler Hensley

Shuler Hensley is a Tony Award winner and a true Broadway legend! If you’re from Georgia, you may have competed at “The Shuler Awards,” otherwise known as the Georgia High School Musical Theatre Awards, the winner of which competes in the Jimmys! If you’re coming to Broadway soon, you’re probably planning to see him starring alongside Hugh Jackman in The Music Man. And if you love Broadway, you know that Shuler created the iconic role of the Monster in Young Frankenstein on both Broadway and London’s West End. Most spectacularly, he won both an Olivier and the 2003 Tony Award for Best Featured Actor in a Musical for his performance as Jud in Oklahoma! Shuler loves to connect with fans and aspiring performers, he’s been teaching, coaching and performing with young artists for over 25 years. Be sure to ask Shuler about his many other stage, film, opera and television roles (including Javert in Les Mis), his career as a college baseball player, and how he tackles each new role!
