Stark Sands has graced the stage and the screen dozens of times over the past 20 years. In film, he has worked with directors like Steven Spielberg, the Coen Brothers, and Clint Eastwood. On Broadway, he originated the roles of Tunny in American Idiot and Charlie Price in Kinky Boots, for which he won a Grammy Award and received a Tony Award nomination for Best Actor in a Musical. He recently starred as Horace Gilmer in To Kill a Mockingbird, and has acted in countless films and television shows such as Inside Llewyn Davis, The Post, Generation Kill, and Minority Report. Stark loves connecting with fans and is happy to answer any and all questions regarding his career, the differences between working on musicals and straight plays, and what it’s like to jump between Broadway, TV, and Film. Be sure to ask him about his upcoming project Swept Away with the Avett Brothers!
