Vishal Vaidya is thrilled to be returning to Broadway in the highly acclaimed revival of Merrily We Roll Along. He made his Broadway debut as Larry the cameraman in Groundhog Day. Vishal was recently nominated for a Helen Hayes Award for his work on Olney Theatre’s groundbreaking production of The Music Man, which featured deaf, hard of hearing, and hearing talent. Other credits include playing Ajit in the world premier of Come Fall in Love (dir. Aditya Chopra), working with Stephen Sondheim on the City Center revival of Road Show, the world premier of Swept Away at Berkeley Rep (dir. Michael Mayer), the world premier of DAVE at Arena Stage (dir. Tina Landau), and the Ahmanson Theater revival of The Secret Garden (dir. Warren Carlyle). He has also had the honor of singing the National Anthem for President Barack Obama, and appears on the albums ‘Losing My Mind: A Sondheim Disco Fever Dream’.
