Matt was actually originally brought in to audition for Paul in Company, but was stopped mid-song and asked to read for Jamie instead. He was then given 24 hours to learn “Getting Married Today”!

Carmen’s Broadway debut was in Bright Star, where she originated the role of Alice Murphy and was nominated for a Tony for this role.
Jennifer recounted her audition for Company in an interview and remarked, “You know, you just do your thing and they either like it or they don’t. I later found out from Marianne that she liked me the minute I walked into the room because of the bright orange, because she’s all about color, and she said she was hoping in that moment that it would work, because she liked the energy.”

Despite Shoshana’s extensive line of Broadway credits, this is actually her first-ever Tony nomination!! She has been nominated for Best Featured Actress in a Musical for her role as Susan Young in Mr. Saturday Night. Well deserved!!!
